Scouting Bio for one of our Members-at-Large Marc Yovine
Marc first joined the Scouts in Troop
170 of the Bronx in 1987. He went
on to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout
with a bronze palm in 1994. In
1990 he was inducted into Ranachqua
Lodge of the Order of the Arrow.
In 1991 he sealed his vows in
Brotherhood. He transferred to Shu
Shu Ga Lodge in Brooklyn in 1998.
Marc's first year in TMR was 1988 when
he attended camp Keowa with his Troop.
He has been attending camp Aquehonga
since the mid 1990's with Troop 170.
He served as ASM from 1994-1997 and has
been on the Committee of Troop 170 since
1997. In the fall of 1999 he
completed Scoutmaster Fundamentals
training and earned the Scouters
Training Award. In 2000, Marc took
Woodbadge (NEIII-148) and he received
his beads in 2002. He served as
Scoutmaster of Troop 170, The Bronx and
currently is the Committee Chairman.
Marc is a senior marketing analyst for a
large Marketing Research firm in
Norwalk, CT.
