Scouting Bio for our Webmaster Brian Yovine

Brian joined Troop 170 in The Bronx in 1984.  He attained the rank of Eagle Scout in 1992.  In 1986, Brian was inducted into the Order of the Arrow in Ranaqua Lodge #4, where he also sealed his membership in the Brotherhood at the same lodge in 1987.  In 1999, Brian took Scoutmaster Fundamentals and received his Scouters Training Award.  He successfully completed Woodbadge (course NEII-114) in 1999, and completed his ticket and received his beads in 2002.  In 1995, Brian became Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 170, and then became a member of the Troop Committee in 1998.  He currently serves as the Troop Webmaster (www.troop170.org), Troop Treasurer, and Merit Badge Counselor.  Brian is also the current FOTMR Webmaster (www.friendsoftmr.org). 

Brian works as a Manager in Information Technology for General Electric and is an instructor for the American Red Cross in CPR and First Aid.  He got married in 2008 and lives with his wife Sharon and their son in Stamford, CT.
