Scouting Bio for our Service Chairman Colin Pinnavaia

Colin joined scouting in 1994 with Troop 45 in Brooklyn after earning the Arrow of Light in Pack 45.  In 1998 Colin went on to earn the rank of Eagle Scout and eventually a Silver Palm. In 1999 Colin joined Troop 237, Brooklyn as a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster.  Colin was inducted into Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge of the Order of the Arrow June of 1997.  He sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 1998 and was elevated to the Vigil Honor in May of 2000. Colin has served as Chairman of the Shows, Brotherhood and Vigil Committees. He has also served as Vice-Chief in 1999 and Colin was elected Lodge Chief of Shu-Shu-Gah in 2000. Colin attended NOAC in 1998 and was the youth contingent leader in 2000.  Colin's summer camp experience started in 1994 as a camper at Rock Hill Scout Reservation.  Colin served on the Camp Staff at Rock Hill from 1997-1999 as a CIT and later as the Office Manager. In 2000 Colin joined the staff at Camp Aquehonga as a Scoutcraft instructor and in 2001 served as the Scoutcraft Director and will hold that position again in 2002. Colin had completed the Order of the Arrow's National Leadership Seminar in 1999 and National Camp School (Scoutcraft) in 2001.  He served on the National Camp School Staff in 2002.  Colin is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 237, Brooklyn and is the current FOTMR Service Chairman.  He has just graduated St. John's University majoring in Computer Science with a Business Minor.
